WeWork: Cancer Collaboration Hubs

WeWork is a community of people built on collaboration, team work and the idea that we are all better together. With these values at the helm, WeWork commits to provide the space, platform and people for researchers, patients, caretakers, and survivors to share information and collaborate to fight cancer together. This partnership is launching Collaboration Hubs powered by WeWork and the Biden Cancer Initiative in select buildings in New York City, Boston and San Francisco. This venture will unite WeWork’s mission with the Biden Cancer Initiative’s call to action in one physical space. Beginning in October 2018, three Collaboration Hubs will open across the country in New York, Boston, and San Francisco. WeWork’s physical space provides an environment for important work to take place while breaking down obstacles to communication and shared information around research and development. At WeWork, its members range from entrepreneurs and startups, to non-profit organizations, to established enterprise corporations. From global healthcare leaders to just two-person companies, WeWork’s global community currently includes at least 20 companies working to help in the fight against cancer. Now WeWork members focused on ending cancer will have a space to collaborate, so together we can overcome obstacles standing in the way of progress for patients and their families.
